The Engineering Professional Year Program (Engineering PYP) is a 44-week program developed by Engineering Education Australia (EEA) to help international engineering graduates understand Australian workplace expectations, enhance employability, and become job-ready. The program includes 32 weeks of coursework and a 12-week internship placement in an Australian engineering company. Upon successful completion, graduates are eligible for 5 extra points on the Department of Home Affairs points test, aiding in permanent residency applications.
Eligibility: Graduates must have a relevant engineering degree and a Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485).
